The lead-up to the 2026 National Export Conference continues with the final event in the series of regional meetings dedicated to Italian businesses and territories.
On 6 October 2026, from 10.30 am, the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone in Rome will host the event “Obiettivo Export: businesses and regions in Central Italy towards the 2026 National Export Conference”. The event is promoted by Antonio Tajani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in collaboration with ICE Agency, CDP, SACE, SIMEST and Unioncamere.
This event marks the third and final stage in the build-up to the 2026 National Export Conference, following the meetings dedicated to Northern and Southern Italy.
The event is aimed at businesses, economic operators and public administrations from the regions of Lazio, Abruzzo, Umbria, Marche, Tuscany and Sardinia. It will provide an opportunity to discuss the needs of businesses and contribute to the development of increasingly targeted strategies to support internationalisation and promote Made in Italy products and expertise in international markets, in line with the objectives of the Export Action Plan.
Two Growth Workshops will also be held during the day and will be open to all participants:
- Growth Workshop - Culture, focusing on leading local businesses and organisations, as well as the cultural and creative industries, with the aim of exploring internationalisation opportunities and pathways;
- Growth Workshop - Innovation and Start-ups, focusing on start-ups and innovative SMEs, as well as the tools available from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the agencies of the Italian business support system to promote and support access to international markets.
How to take part
Participation is free of charge, subject to registration by 8.00 pm on 3 October 2026 via the dedicated registration platform.
Registration also gives participants the opportunity to request one-to-one meetings with experts from the Italian business support system, to explore the tools, opportunities and pathways available to support internationalisation.
