Requirements for Italian sellers

To sell on JD Worldwide, Italian brands must meet several requirements:

  • Non-Chinese registered company with proven sales track record
  • Brand ownership or license with documentation (e.g., trademark registration, licensing agreements)
  • USD bank account for cross-border settlements
  • Business registration documents, including shareholder and director IDs
  • Customer service in Mandarin and product descriptions translated into Mandarin
  • Local return centers in China, with the ability to ship within 72 hours of order

Application process: Sellers must contact a JD Worldwide category-specific Business Development Manager, submit required documentation, and—if approved—pay a refundable deposit (USD 15,000) and an annual service fee (USD 1,000).

  • Sales commission: 2%–8%, depending on category
  • Annual store fee: USD 1,000 (up to USD 3,000 for some high-value categories)
  • Refundable deposit: USD 15,000
