Lombardy Measures 2025

The “Tailor-Made Export” scheme supports Lombardy-based SMEs by providing training, practical tools and trade missions to facilitate entry into and growth across five high-potential foreign markets: Saudi Arabia, Brazil, India, Singapore and the United States.

The Measure is promoted by Regione Lombardia and Unioncamere Lombardia, with the support of Promos Italia, and is designed to guide Lombardy-based SMEs through a structured internationalisation pathway.
Selected companies will gain access to a comprehensive programme including training, operational support and trade missions in the target countries.

Eligible Applicants

The call is open to SMEs with an operational base in Lombardy that are interested in developing or strengthening their presence in international markets.

Activities and Services Provided

The scheme offers a structured internationalisation pathway consisting of the following phases.

“Doing Business” Training on Target Countries

Introductory sessions (2 hours) focusing on the economic environment, key sectors, geopolitical dynamics, as well as cultural and negotiation aspects.

Technical Online Training Courses

Reserved for companies selected for the trade missions, these courses aim to strengthen operational skills in the following areas:

customs procedures and regulatory barriers;

legal and contractual aspects;

international logistics and payments;

practical case studies and applicable solutions.

Tailor-Made Internationalisation Plan

Participating companies will receive a customised operational plan, based on market data and company-specific information, analysing:

target market characteristics;

product or service compatibility;

barriers to entry;

distribution channels and business opportunities.

A practical tool designed to support informed strategic decision-making.

Trade Missions Abroad

The trade missions will take place between May and October 2026 in the following markets:

  • Saudi Arabia | 4–6 May

  • Brazil | 26–29 May

  • USA | 16–18 June

  • Singapore | 23–25 September

  • India | 12–15 October

Services included:

  • structured B2B agenda (4–6 qualified meetings per company);

  • local partner search;

  • interpreters;

  • logistical and organisational support.

Post-Mission Follow-up

At the end of the missions, companies will be supported in managing and enhancing the contacts established through dedicated follow-up activities, with the aim of turning meetings into concrete business opportunities.

Application Procedure and Deadlines

Call opening: 10 December 2025, 11.00 a.m.

Applications must be submitted exclusively online via the InfoCamere WebTelemaco platform, in accordance with the instructions published on the Unioncamere Lombardia website in the “Calls for Proposals” section.

Application windows:

  • until 6 February 2026 for Saudi Arabia, Brazil and the USA;

  • from 15 April 2026 for Singapore and India.
