Italia Economia Sociale is an incentive from the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy aimed at companies engaged in activities of social utility and public interest.
The scheme supports investments with one or more of the following objectives: increasing employment of disadvantaged workers, promoting social inclusion of vulnerable individuals, environmental protection and enhancement, urban regeneration and sustainable tourism, environmental sustainability of business activities, safeguarding and valorising historical and cultural assets, or pursuing cultural, creative, or socially beneficial objectives of significant public interest.
The support is provided in a mixed form, combining subsidised loans covering up to 80% of eligible investment, and grants ranging from 5% to 20%.
The programme is managed by Invitalia and has a financial allocation of €223 million.
