What is the Digital Export Bonus Plus
The Digital Export Bonus Plus is an incentive for manufacturing micro-enterprises seeking to expand their international presence through dedicated digital export solutions.
The programme is promoted by Invitalia in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the ICE Agency, launched through the call dated 8 January 2024.
Eligibility
The programme targets Italian micro and small manufacturing enterprises, including those operating in networks or consortia.
- Companies that have already received the previous Digital Export Bonus can apply for the new grant only if they have correctly completed reporting and expense submission within the deadlines.
- Companies subject to revocation, forfeiture due to withdrawal, or failure to report previous grant usage are not eligible.
Available Grants
The grant, provided under the “de minimis” regime, can cover:
- €10,000 for single enterprises, with eligible expenses of at least €12,500 excluding VAT
- €22,500 for networks and consortia, with eligible expenses of at least €25,000 excluding VAT
Special Reservations:
- €3 million for companies in Emilia-Romagna, Marche, and Tuscany
- €1.5 million for companies in Tuscan provinces
Eligible Expenses
Eligible expenses include costs for acquiring digital solutions for export, including:
- E-commerce systems and services
- Digital communication and promotion strategies
- Digital marketing for internationalisation
- CMS services and SaaS platforms
- Consultancy for organisational processes and human capital for export
- Hardware upgrades

How to Apply
Applications must be submitted online from 10:00 on 13 February to 10:00 on 12 April 2024.
Requirements:
- Digital identity (SPID or CNS)
- Access to Invitalia’s reserved area to complete the application
- Digital signature and certified email (PEC)

The Digital Export Bonus Plus enables Italian manufacturing micro-enterprises to gain support in expanding into international markets through innovative and targeted digital export solutions.
