As part of the project proposed to you by Promos Italia, what opportunities did you want to seize?
Gruppo UNA, Italy's leading hotel chain, offers 53 hotels, resorts and residences throughout Italy, with spaces and meeting rooms for conference events in 13 destinations. The Group's extensive MICE offering meets the needs of meetings and conferences, with a strong presence in the European market, particularly in the UK. The collaboration with Promos and the Chamber of Commerce strengthens our visibility and appeal in the United Kingdom, promoting Italian hospitality abroad.
How did Promos Italia respond to your requests? What services were offered to you? And which ones did you decide to adopt?
Promos Italia was able to respond to Gruppo UNA's requests with meticulous attention. The meetings they organised took place in iconic, elegant locations with refined design, characteristics that perfectly reflect our Group's ideals. The collaboration gave rise to streamlined, easy and highly efficient formats, capable of reaching the right target audience of potential customers for our facilities. Also worth mentioning is the welcome opportunity they offered to meet customers online before the activities took place; an initial contact, albeit virtual, which made the face-to-face meeting even easier and more enjoyable. Finally, we would like to give a special mention to the Fam Trips: an effective tool that allowed our foreign partners to experience first-hand the typical Italian hospitality of Gruppo UNA.
Can you tell us about the results achieved together with Promos Italia? What benefits has your company gained?
The partnership with Promos Italia has helped to increase the number of requests from abroad to organise events and conferences in Gruppo UNA's facilities. Not least, we have also received direct leads from Yes Milano. Thanks to the support provided by the agency, one of the first major events held in 2022, in the midst of the post-Covid period, in the conference rooms of UNAHOTELS Expo Fiera Milano, was repeated in 2023, confirming the great success achieved the previous year. Particular attention is also being paid to the City of Milan's bid for major international conferences: a valuable opportunity for Gruppo UNA, which is committed to further consolidating its presence in the MICE sector, and for the entire national tourism sector.
